EU Projects

Slovácké strojírny, a.s. Uherský Brod is an intensively developing company, which coordinates a number of projects. The projects that are currently approved by the European Social Fund and European Regional Development Fund include:

With Education to Prosperity (within the Operational Program Human Resources and Employment). The project responds to the ongoing need of Slovácké strojírny, a.s. Uherský Brod to educate their employees and thus to contribute to the implementation of modern technologies into production. Because of this, the company will remain capable of competition and will be also able to respond flexibly to changing demands of the market environment. Total sum of financial resources for the project is 11.1 million CZK of which subsidies from the ESF and from the state budget are 7.8 million CZK. The project is realized in the period from 1.10.2009 to 31.12.2010.

Training Centre II - Integration of education (within the Operational Program Enterprise and Innovation). The project aims to build and develop an educational Centre with scope of activities on company and regional scale, which will provide and implement educational programs in areas of further professional (technical) training, service training, retraining, also including expert language training for Slovácké strojírny, joint-stock company. A Centre will be founded, whose capacities will be partially available for use by other employers and so the Centre will immediately and specifically respond to their demands in education. Total sum of financial resources for the project is 105.6 million CZK of which subsidies from the Structural funds and from the state budget are 42.3 million CZK. The project is realized in the period from 2.3.2009 to 30.11.2009.
